A lot of dealerships brag about offering the best used cars for sale in Austin, but Apple Lease Returns has some unique benefits when it comes to backing up that hype. First and foremost, our used Subarus — and all of our used cars — tend to be very well taken care of by their previous owners. That’s because those owners know that, as part of their leasing contract, they’re not only responsible for any damages when they’re done, they’re also limited as to how many miles they can drive per year. As a result, our off-lease Subarus generally come back to us in fantastic conditions. Apple Lease Returns then takes quality to the next level by checking for previous and/or current issues with Carfax and certifying our used Subarus with Carfax as well.

It’s a double dose of confidence that’s complemented by fair-value pricing and quick and easy credit — complete with a secure online financing application that can get you pre-approved in just a few minutes. You can then click through to our online inventory to start your shopping from the convenience of your own phone or computer.

In addition, even though we focus on selling off-lease vehicles, we’re ready to buy used cars from just about everyone — even if they don’t make a purchase from us.

Subaru first rose to prominence as part of Fuji Heavy Industries, a large manufacturing conglomerate that launched the brand in 1954 to build its own cars. It was a logical next step for Fuji, which itself came together after World War II and already included separate divisions dedicated to engine building, chassis manufacturing, and coach-building. Subaru’s auto-making business was far from an immediate success, however: Only 20 units of the company’s first model, the Subaru 1500, were ever produced.

The following two decades saw Subaru begin to evolve into the brand it is today. The company introduced its first boxer engine in the 1960s and developed its Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive technology in the 1970s. By the end of the 1980s, Subaru was even building cars here in the United States. The Subaru Forester and Outback then debuted in the 1990s, right in time for the country’s current love affair with SUVs. Today, Subaru fans across the country — including here in Austin — continue to keep this brand on the move!
